Vancouver, Canada
and surrounding areas
3rd - 14th June 2004

The following day we moved north across the border into Canada, staying in the town of White Rock for a couple of days. White Rock is on the north side of the large river estuary which separates Canada from the US. In part it is a normal town centre, this part was on the coast with the houses arranged up the hillside facing the sea.
A big hill took us down to the seafront,
and I mean a BIG HILL.
It must have been 45 degrees in places.

Saturday we joined in the West Vancouver community day.
The kids joined the parade and then held a concert in Ambleside Park,
on edge of the beach.
The second indoor concert:
Held at the First Baptist Church

Vancouver, what a beautiful city!
This photo was taken during morning rush hour at 8.30am.
Most of the skyscrapers
are living accomodation.

The church is at the base of the second tower from the left. (black tower)
