 Travelling
east from Montana we enter North Dakota and go straight to the Hew Hope
Wesleyan Church at Williston. The concert here is packed, the main hall
seats 300 people and the photograph shows the church foyer behind me also
packed with people. We stay in this town for 3 nights, Sunday to Tuesday,
the kids have school on Monday and Tuesday. We never actually enter the
town of Williston itself and my only view of it is taken from close to
where I was staying. This
photograph was taken during an early evening walk, before the mosquitoes
come out - even so there were many biting bugs flying at the time.
From Williston we travelled
to Minot, we stayed there for a couple of nights, but for some reason I
didn't make many photographs. One
thing I do remember is that the fields were full of grasshoppers. When
you walked in the sunshine the noise they made was deafening. Whenever
you moved your feet, lots of them would jump out of your path. They even
have flying grasshoppers here like this one shown.
 Our
next and final stop in this state is Fargo and one of the biggest churches
we have performed in so far. This church has only opened its new sanctuary
in March this year and seats 1200 in comfortable cinema style seats. The
kids were dwarfed by the size of the stage, although a video camera and
2 projectors ensured that anyone who couldn't see the kids could at least
see them on the screens.
